| Dear Ruth, It was such a joy to welcome in the new year with our new puppy, Kaycee! In every way her coming to us was guided by an Earth Angel! I so wanted a black and white dog and yours are so beautiful and rated so well, I thought I had died and went to heaven when you gave me the privilege of allowing us adopt one of Tiger and Goliaths pups from their latest litter. I did a crash learning course on English Shepherds when I "tripped" over a picture of them in a dog magazine, and upon Karen Zumwalts request to breeders, you were the first to email me about Shepherds Earth Angels. We went to visit a "live" ES here is 'Jersey, and decided that from what we saw, read and heard from many people I wrote to and called, that an ES was the perfect breed for us. A combination of your reputation, and of course that of your dogs and their off-spring, your attractive, fun, and very informative website, and your very proactive and responsive approach to all my hundreds of questions, assured us that we were making the correct decision on buying a puppy from you, and believe me I am not one to buy something without doing a MASSIVE amount of research, and seeing and touching in person. But we took a gamble, one that paid off in the most beautiful, sweet, intelligent and loving dog I have ever met. Granted, she has only been with us for a week, but her personality is right out there and she is everything and more than I expected! Our first vet visit was great, and my vet, who had already seen 3 new puppies that day, commented on how beautiful and healthy Kaycee was. Of course, she was busy wagging her tail and licking his face, so it was hard to hear him. Later his wife told me that he doesn't say that about many dogs, so you and Tiger should feel deservedly proud of yourselves! In addition to her health, her socialization by you, your girls and your "furry helpers" is obvious! Kaycee arrived to us in the middle of the holiday craziness and she has been even tempered, friendly, and social with everyone and everything she has been exposed to. She is obviously very bright and my kids were so excited when they taught her to "sit" on the very first day! She is so great with them and with all the kids she has met, and that was very important to us. Kaycee also seems so gentle with my two very put out house cats. who aren't sure what is going on but haven't hissed or fuzzed (yet) thanks to Kaycee who seems to know they are nervous. Finally, for all of you who have made it this far in my note, I have to comment on Kaycees trip to us from Louisiana, through Atlanta ( with a layover) to New Jersey. I was a wreck, but Kaycee arrived to us on a cold winters night, tail wagging, happy as a clam. Ruth, I was so uncertain about having Kaycee shipped to us but I had no option at this time of year. I also knew it put a tremendous burden on you to buy a shipping crate, go to the vet for a weather acclimation statement, drive 2 hours to the airport (and be there 2 hours ahead) and just answer all my hundreds of emails about logistics and Kaycee. You were calm and responsive through it all and at no time did we EVER feel like you were not the right breeder for us. Thank you a hundred times for our beautiful Kaycee; for your wonderful website and your diligent and creative efforts to post weekly pictures of the puppies that I LIVED for. For answering ALL my questions and being so professional, and for allowing and enabling us to make Kaycee a member of our family. You are truly our Earth Angel!
