Rumor is my buddy. I didn't even realize just how attached I am to this dog. Smart, dedicated and loving. He was a bit of a handful until I got started with the "barnyard" animals. Now he has a job and he just shines. It's amazing to see him turn the hog so I can get in and move feed pans and then watch him with the goats, who are pest, but he is patient with them. Then to hold a 5 week old bunnie to him and watch him give it a gentle kiss, and clean it.. Then it's off to make sure those squirrels aren't on the ground in the yard. I love squirrels but I don't really want them in the yard stealing the feed. And of course, when a possum comes along Rumor will tree it until I tell him to kill it. All that, and when I need to catch a chicken or turkey or duck....Rumor does that too. He's never hurt one.....but those turkeys put up a big fight and Rumor ends up with feathers in his mouth. He hates that!.
I'm proud to have Rumor here as one of Our Stud dogs.
