| I wanted to share a few pictures of one of my up and coming Earth Angels. This is Bear. She will turn two years old in June 2002 and if she passes her OFA screening she will be joyfully added to our Breeding program! She has shown so much ability. Thinking skills, intelligence and a fantastic temperment. She shows the instinct to herd but also the instinct to watch mom and see what mom wants her to do. She is a loving shadow and a true Treasure to Earth Angels. These pictures show how she reacts to children! The oldest in these pictures is our daughter Allison, who is 8 yrs old and a bit rough for a girl! The toddler you see here is my great niece who recently moved in right down the road. This is the second weekend for me to babysit Sara during the days and Bear had not been exposed to such a young child before Sara came to stay. Bear has been such an ANGEL with Sara! We are so proud of her! She has not been trained to accept children, it just comes naturally to her. I am not saying ALL ES are this good with children, but for the most part, most ES are fantastic with kids. Always ask your breeder how their dogs are with children and about the temperments they breed for in their dogs! |
